Mumamoo Bar Takeover at WaveOff Shanghai – A Stop on Our World Tour

On March 30th and 31st, Mumamoo brought its “World Tour” journey to one of Shanghai’s most iconic coffee spaces — WaveOff, located in the well-known Xuhui district, often referred to as the city’s charming “plane tree area”, where streets are lined with beautiful sycamore trees.

Over the course of two vibrant days, we welcomed a passionate crowd of coffee lovers who came to experience something beyond the everyday menu. Our exclusive event lineup was designed to reflect the spirit of our travels — diverse, creative, and deeply rooted in the idea of “drink coffee, see the world.”

1. Pistachio Dirty

One of the highlights was our Pistachio Dirty — a playful yet refined take on a modern classic, blending nutty pistachio sweetness with bold espresso and silky milk. It quickly became a signature favorite of the weekend.

2. Gesha Tasting Flight

We also presented our “One Bean, Two Ways” Geisha experience, offering the same Gesha coffee through two different brewing methods. This concept reflects what we’ve learned on our journey: that coffee is not just about origin, but also about expression — how different perspectives can reveal entirely new dimensions in a single bean.

3. Pour Over Limited

Alongside these, we served a rotating selection of specialty pour-over coffees from different origins, each cup representing a unique place, story, and flavor profile. From bright and floral to rich and complex, it was a true tasting journey across borders.

This event wasn’t just a takeover — it was a moment of connection. A place where people gathered, shared conversations, and experienced coffee as a bridge between cultures.

As a Shanghai-born brand, it meant even more to bring our World Tour spirit back home, sharing what we’ve discovered around the world with our local community.
