Mumamoo in Costa Mesa – A Beautiful Bar Takeover at The Moon Coffee
Share
On April 19th, Mumamoo brought its journey to Costa Mesa, California, where we wrapped up a truly memorable bar takeover at The Moon Coffee.

Set in this beautiful coastal area of Los Angeles, the event was more than just a coffee pop-up — it was a gathering of friends, new and old. We were incredibly happy to meet so many of you in person, sharing conversations, stories, and of course, coffee.
For this special occasion, we introduced a curated menu brought all the way from Shanghai, offering a glimpse into Mumamoo’s unique coffee perspective.

One of the highlights was our “One Bean, Two Ways” Geisha experience, where a single Gesha blend was presented through different brewing methods — showcasing how one coffee can express itself in multiple dimensions.
Our Pistachio Dirty once again became a crowd favorite, combining nutty sweetness with bold espresso and smooth milk, creating a rich yet balanced cup that many came back for.

We also served a range of hand-brewed pour-over coffees from different origins. Going into the event, we weren’t sure how popular pour-over would be — but to our surprise, it became one of the most talked-about parts of the menu. Many guests chose to explore these coffees, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Beyond the coffee itself, Costa Mesa offered the perfect backdrop for such an experience. Known for its proximity to some of Southern California’s most beautiful beaches, many guests continued their day by heading to the coast — turning the event into part of a relaxed and joyful weekend.

This takeover was not just about serving coffee — it was about sharing a lifestyle, a way of connecting people through taste, travel, and culture.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to The Moon Coffee for hosting us so warmly.
From Shanghai to California, the journey continues.
See you at the next stop.
